Roger Taft has been a Collectibles dealer for over 30 years, and collector for as long as he can remember.
In 1982 a copy of Marvel Comics G.I. Joe #1 written by Larry Hama fell into his 9 year old hands and it changed the direction of his life forever. Over the years he has owned and operated 3 different Comic and Toy stores in Wyoming, Kentucky, and Florida; written multiple articles for Joe Declassified Magazine, a G.I. Joe magazine produced by G.I. Joe fans; contributed to YoJoe.Com; appeared on multiple podcasts; attended hundreds of pop-culture conventions, comic, toy, and collectible shows; interviewed several comic creators; conducted countless hours of research into toys, comic books, their creation, their origins, and pop-culture in general; and amassed one heck of a G.I. Joe collection along the way.
In 2020 all of that knowledge and experience was poured into Guidebooks. Now with his writing partner Josh Eggebeen, and a slowly growing team of experts he writes After Action Report: G.I. Joe Comic Guidebooks covering G.I. Joe comics from 1982 through 2022. Volumes 1 and 2 are available now. Volume 3, and After Action Report: Command Files volume 1 will arrive soon, with more books planned.
In Central Florida you may have known Roger as the owner of the collectibles store Atomic Age Artifacts. Circumstances put the store in the past. Now get to know Roger again as the author of After Action Report.
